Ken Stone Photographer 1913-1989 Born in Santa Cruz, Ken became a self-taught photographer in 1943 after buying a 2nd hand Speed Graphic camera. He became the exclusive Monterey Bay photographer for Mike Roberts Color Productions in 1946. He did a series of postcards which are now collector's items. In 1949 he moved his family to Boulder Creek and his main focus became the San Lorenzo Valley and Scotts Valley. This exhibit, enlarged from his original transparencies, and digitally remastered, captures his love of the area and an era from the past we want to remember!
